The 2006 Reva is an extraordinary expression of Paso Robles, delivering incredible depth and concentration with layers of blackberry, blueberry, smoked meat, black pepper, licorice and exotic spice. Powerful yet remarkably complex, with a rich, velvety texture, beautifully integrated tannins and an exceptionally long finish. A monumental Syrah from a spectacular vintage, showcasing the extraordinary aging potential of Alban's acclaimed wines.
Expert Notes
Robert Parker: 100
The 2006 Syrah Reva, coming from parcels of dark, volcanic soil, has off-the-chart richness and intensity. This thick, opaque-purple colored wine offers up notes of scorched earth, ground pepper, and blackberry liqueur intermixed with cassis, licorice, camphor, and tar. The wine is spectacular in every sense. Full-bodied and certainly not for wimps, this is a remarkably concentrated yet very nuanced and intense wine that should age for 20 more years.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1997/1819/files/test-red-bottle-finding-wine_756_540x_18dac680-7348-4ff5-af0b-fda424fbc475.jpg?v=1793880579
