Parparoussis - 2017 - Parparoussis Muscat of Rio Patras - 500 ml.

The 2013 Muscat de Rio Patras comes in with 120 grams per liter of residual sugar and 12.5% alcohol. Always fun, this aromatic dessert wine is rather enlivening, light and lively, with an elegant and sunny feel. There's nothing cloying or flabby and the sugar on the end is laced with a bit of eucalyptus. This could be pretty nice to drink all by itself. It might not have the stuffing to hold up to very rich and sweet desserts, though. Cheeses might do better. The price applies to a 500ml bottle, from which this was tasted. There were 830 cases produced.
