Without a doubt, one of the most distinctive features of the Peumo vineyard - located in the Cachapoal Valley, in the Sixth Region of Chile - is the carmine color that its vines acquire in autumn. However, this year the leaves have been colored earlier than usual. Carmenere grapes destined for the Terrunyo and Carmín de Peumo lines are obtained from the Peumo vineyard, classified in the ultra-premium and icon wine segments, respectively.
Peumo is a privileged area and a high altitude vineyard. Peumo is the icon of Chilean vineyards, where it is grown in special blocks in the renowned Peumo terroir, known for producing the best harvests of this variety of French grape.
