Abadia Retuerta - 2019 - Pago Valdebellon - 750 ml.

A new, mature vintage that exhibits true quality, complexity and authenticity. We find herbaceous notes of laurel, black tea, Mediterranean shrubs, thyme and rockrose, with hints of paprika and a smokiness of roast vegetables and chestnuts. On the palate it is flavourful, clean and perfumed. Its character comes through in its firm and very fine tannins: they develop in intensity over time, and thus foretell this wine’s excellent potential for ageing.
