El Holgazán is a comparatively youthful, 35-year-old parcel at 920 metres in Marta Maté'shome village of Tubilla del Lago. Chalky and stony, it's a typically refined red from one ofmy favourite Ribera del Duero bodegas, with scented, understated wood, refined tannins,mountain herb and aromatic spice top notes and racy plum and summer berry flavours.
