Estrada Alta is a small vineyard of only 0.64 hectares at a height of 610 meters. It is located in the highest part of the town of Lanciego in a poor soil. It is a vineyard from the 40s, trained as bushvines, grafted in a traditional way in the vineyard itself, using mainly Tempranillo and some Graciano. The Estrada Alta is located to the west of the town with a northeast orientation, in the highest part of a slope of pure calcareous clay. We have always been fascinated by this vineyard so small for its purity, depth and balance.
