Vouni Panayia's Plakota is a blend of Maratheftiko and Ntopio Mavro. Maratheftiko is know as the most noble Cypriot varietal, producing rich wines with soft tannins and flavors of cherries and dark chocolate. Ntopio Mavro producers light red wines with lively red-fruit and floral notes. Blended together in Plakota, they produce a wonderfully concentrated, soft and round wine with flavors of cherry, raspberry, blackberry and plum with a persistent finish.
