Moselle is located in southwestern Germany. Actually, the wine-growing area includes three countries, as the meanders of the Moselle River run between France, Luxembourg and Germany.

The Moselle wine region encompasses 8,800 hectares of vineyards. The elegant Riesling wines from Moselle, Saar and Ruwer are therefore among the best white wines in the world. They are characterized by deep flavor and relatively low alcohol content, and are high-quality summer wines.
Everything here revolves around the Riesling grape variety. Although there are also others accepted by the Denomination such as Müller-Thurgau and Elbling, a very old variety, probably used by the romans.
