Frequently asked questions

Everything buyers ask before ordering wine from us: where we can ship, who has to sign for the box, how long it takes, and what happens if something goes wrong. If your question is not here, call us at +1 (786) 823-4439 or email info@finding.wine.

Shipping and delivery

Yes. finding.wine ships wine nationwide across the United States. It is a Miami-area retailer with a physical store at 17501 Biscayne Blvd #500, Aventura, Florida, and an online store that fulfils orders across the country.

Where finding.wine holds the necessary licence it ships directly via FedEx; for other destinations the order is fulfilled through WeShip Express or another authorised compliance partner, so every shipment is lawful for where it is going. Your address is confirmed at checkout. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or to APO/FPO addresses, and every delivery needs someone aged 21 or over to sign for it.

Yes. Every wine delivery requires a recipient aged 21 or over, a valid government-issued ID if the carrier asks for it, and an adult signature. Wine cannot be left unattended and carriers will not release a package to a minor. We recommend a business address where possible, because it reduces failed delivery attempts.

Most in-stock orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days after payment is authorised and the order is reviewed. Transit time is quoted separately at checkout and depends on the destination and the shipping method. Shipping estimates do not include processing time and do not count Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Estimates are not guaranteed.

Wine is sensitive to heat, cold and sudden temperature change in transit, so finding.wine may delay a shipment when the weather would put the bottle at risk. We may recommend expedited shipping, a weather hold, or a different ship date. If you choose to ship anyway, or decline a recommended weather hold, you assume the temperature risk for that shipment.

If no adult aged 21 or over is available, the address is incomplete, or the package is refused for a reason not caused by finding.wine, the carrier may hold the package or return it to us. In that case the customer is responsible for the original outbound shipping, the return shipping, any storage fees, and a new shipping label before the order can be reshipped.

Returns and refunds

If a shipment arrives damaged, or an item is incorrect or missing, notify us within 48 hours of delivery and we will resolve it; if the error was ours, no restocking fee applies. Returns for other reasons, including changing your mind or ordering the wrong wine, are subject to a 20% restocking fee and to non-refundable shipping and handling charges. Keep the original packaging and photograph the package and contents before contacting us about damage.

Once a refund is approved, allow 5 to 10 business days for processing, plus any additional time your bank or card issuer needs to post it. Refunds are limited to the purchase price actually paid, less any restocking fee and any non-refundable shipping charges that apply to your case.

Buying from finding.wine

There are three tiers, and each one sends a different number of bottles a month. Future Connoisseurs is $100 a month for 3 to 4 wines, classic and new wave bottlings across white, red, rosé and sparkling, worth up to $130. Oenophiles is $250 a month for 3 to 4 top wines from around the world, worth up to $300. Wine Tycoon is $500 a month for 2 to 3 bottles of high-end, small-production and allocated wine, worth up to $600, with first access to limited allocations.

Every tier is priced below the retail value of the wines it sends. Shipments go out in the first week of each month, members get free access to selected monthly events, and you can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.

Some wines are sold before they physically reach our warehouse, on a pre-arrival, allocation or futures basis. Any arrival date shown at the time of purchase is an estimate, not a commitment: importer schedules, customs and allocation changes can move it. Pre-arrival and futures orders remain subject to the cancellation and return policy in force when you bought them.
