Sardón de Duero is a municipality and a town in Spain located in the east of the province of Valladolid, in the center of the autonomous community of Castilla y León. In that region is the Abadia Retuerta winery, which wisely takes advantage of the winemaking tradition, combined with the most cutting-edge technology, being one of the most advanced in Europe. This facility has been making wines since 1996 and today, it has about 500 acres of planted vineyards.
In these vineyards, they grow mainly Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot.
