Lalande-de-Pomerol lies just north of Pomerol, separated from its famous neighbor by a stream called the Barbanne, and it operates without any official classification of estates. Belles Graves works there with a Merlot-led Right Bank blend, here in the 2019 vintage. With no ranking to lean on, the appellation and the estate name do all the work on the label.
