DESCRIPTION
100% Arneis. Marcarini Roero Arneis DOCG is straw-colored with an extensive, fragrant bouquet, with hints of fresh fruit, acacia flowers and honey.
Marcarini's name is attached to Barolo and its base in La Morra, but this is a white: Roero Arneis, grown across the Tanaro river from the Langhe hills. Arneis had nearly disappeared from Piedmont by the 1960s before a handful of growers pulled it back, and the region earned DOCG status for its wines in 2004. The 2021 sits inside that recovered tradition.
