Dry Creek Valley was granted its own AVA in 1983, and its standing rests on Zinfandel, some of it still coming from vines planted before Prohibition. A. Rafanelli farms in that valley northwest of Healdsburg in Sonoma County, and this is the 2023 Zinfandel bottled under the family name.
