Reddish-purple color. The nose reveals black fruit, spices, and soft notes of fine wood. On the palate, it offers a fresh sensation with good structure and volume, and a subtle, lingering finish.

PS stands for Pagos Seleccionados, and in the 2023 it points to fruit pulled from older parcels across several villages instead of one estate block. Aalto was founded in 1999 by Mariano García, for many years the winemaker at Vega Sicilia, together with Javier Zaccagnini. Growers in Ribera del Duero call their Tempranillo Tinto Fino, and most of the region's vineyards sit high, between roughly 700 and 900 metres.
