Alvaredos Hobbs - 2020 - Godello - 750 ml.

Godello is a white grape, whatever the shelf tag says. It came close to vanishing from northwest Spain after phylloxera and the rural exodus, hanging on in scattered plots until a recovery project in Valdeorras began propagating it again in the 1970s. Most of what exists today traces back to that work; this is a dry white from the 2020 harvest.
