Chardonnay descends from a cross between Pinot and Gouais Blanc, a coarse old variety that had all but disappeared from vineyards by the time DNA work settled the parentage in the late 1990s. Arpents' Le Hauts Brins is a Chardonnay from the 2022 harvest, bottled at 750 ml.
