Barboursville - 2023 - Chardonnay - 750 ml.

Barboursville Vineyards was planted in 1976 by the Zonin family of the Veneto, an early wager that Virginia could grow European vine varieties commercially. The vines sit around the ruins of a house built for James Barbour, a governor of the state in the 1810s. This is the Chardonnay from the 2023 vintage.
