Nebbiolo is the noble red grape behind Italy's Barolo and Barbaresco, and Barboursville Vineyards is one of the very few American estates to bottle it seriously. This 2017 Reserve comes from the Virginia winery's long-running work with a variety that stays rare outside Piedmont. It carries the Reserve label the estate uses for its most ambitious bottlings.
