Mendocino County is the northern end of California's North Coast, and its Cabernet grows inland, in the warm valleys around Ukiah and Redwood Valley, well back from the cold coastal edge. A county appellation covers all of that ground at once, so the name on the label spans several valleys instead of one. This is the 2023 from Barra of Mendocino.
