Zinfandel arrived in Mendocino County with the Italian farming families who settled its inland valleys in the late nineteenth century, and many of the county's oldest surviving vine blocks are still planted to it. Barra of Mendocino keeps that thread running; this bottling comes from the 2021 vintage.
