Binomio - 2021 - Montepulciano D Abruzzo Riserva - 750 ml.

The grape Montepulciano has no connection to the Tuscan town of the same name; it belongs to Abruzzo, on Italy's Adriatic side, where it accounts for most of the red wine produced. Binomio's 2021 is a Riserva, a step the DOC permits only after a longer mandatory aging period before release. Abruzzo also works at real altitude, with vineyards climbing from the coast toward the Apennines.
