Robert Parker:

Godello nearly disappeared in the middle of the twentieth century, reduced to a scattering of vines in northwest Spain before recovery work in Valdeorras and Bierzo pulled it back from the 1970s onward. This 2020 white from Bodegas Mauro is made from that grape, four decades into the revival.
