Torre Muga is a wine that characterizes the power that a wine can Rioja Alta can achieve, balanced with the freshness of the high altitude mesoclimate of the vineyards located near the Oja-Tiron rivers.
Muga works out of Haro's Barrio de la Estación, the cluster of cellars built beside the railway station so barrels could be loaded straight onto trains headed for France. Torre Muga, a Tempranillo-led red, appears here in a 3-liter bottle from the 2005 vintage. Three liters holds the equivalent of four standard bottles.
