Bodegas Penafiel bottled this 2019 Miros as a Crianza, the Ribera del Duero tier that calls for two years of ageing before release, at least twelve months of it in oak. Tempranillo is the grape, although growers along that stretch of the Duero know it as Tinto Fino. Vineyards in the appellation sit high on the plateau, mostly between 750 and 900 metres.
