Valduero is a pioneer in making white wine with Albillo Mayor Grapes. In 1990, Valduero used this variety again, making the first Albillo white in the Ribera del Duero

Criado sobre lias is a process printed where a cuvee title would normally go. It means the wine was left in contact with the spent yeast after fermentation instead of being racked clean off it, a slow, low-intervention step that asks for time in tank or barrel. Bodegas Valduero applied it to the 2020.
