Founder Bartholomew Broadbent is the son of Michael Broadbent, the auctioneer who built Christie's wine department. The Auction Reserve name nods to that family trade. The wine itself is a nonvintage Reserve Port, blended from several Douro harvests and bottled young in the ruby tradition.
