Carlos Serres Rioja Sparkling 2020 is a white sparkling wine made from Viura, Chardonnay and Tempranillo Blanco. Format: 750 ml.
Sparkling wine has been a certified Rioja category only since 2017, when the Consejo Regulador approved Vino Espumoso de Calidad de Rioja. The rules oblige the traditional method, with the second fermentation taking place in the bottle, and set a floor of fifteen months on the lees for the base tier. Carlos Serres dates this one 2020.
