Stephan von Neipperg, whose Bordeaux properties include Canon-la-Gaffelière, has run Château d'Aiguilhe since the late 1990s. The 2019 here is a Merlot-based red from Castillon, the appellation that carries Saint-Émilion's plateau eastward and generally sits a little higher in elevation.
