Semillon has thicker skins and lower natural acidity than Sauvignon Blanc, which is why Bordeaux has blended the two for centuries rather than bottling either on its own. Chateau Haut La Pereyre uses both in this 2023 white, released under the regional Bordeaux appellation that covers the whole of the Gironde.
