DESCRIPTION

Saint-Julien's slice of the 1855 classification looks odd on paper: eleven châteaux, with no first growths and no fifths. Five of the eleven are second growths, and Las Cases, run by the Delon family, sits in that group. Its 2019 grand vin is Cabernet Sauvignon-led, grown through a summer of sharp heat peaks and very little rain.
