Chateau Leoville Las Cases - 2016 - Clos du Marquis - 1.5 L

Clos du Marquis is not a second label but a Saint-Julien cru in its own right, drawn from a separate vineyard on the plateau behind the village; the second wine at Las Cases is Le Petit Lion. This 2016 is a magnum, 1.5 litres under a single cork. Bordeaux that year had a soaking winter and spring, then a drought that held through the summer to harvest.
