NV XO Cognac from the 1786 brand, bottled at 40% ABV. Retail tasting notes describe floral and dark-fruit aromas (jasmine, over-ripe plum) with spice, vanilla and cedarwood, and a smooth, mellow finish.

This is brandy, not wine. It is a Cognac bottled at the XO level, a designation that since 2018 requires the youngest eau-de-vie in the blend to have aged at least ten years in oak. Cognac is twice distilled in copper pot stills within its delimited zone in southwest France, and no vintage appears on this label.
