Before the Grassa family turned Domaine Du Tariquet toward table wine, the estate distilled Armagnac, and Gascon white grapes were grown chiefly for the still. Amplitude 2024 uses Gros Manseng, a thick-skinned Southwest French variety that ripens late and holds its acidity. Like most Gascon whites, it goes out as an IGP wine rather than under an appellation.
