Domaine Léon Barral - 2020 - Faugères Jadis - 750 ml.

Faugères takes in seven communes in the hills north of Béziers, where the ground changes from the limestone of the coastal plain to schist, a layered rock that splits into plates and warms quickly. Vineyards work slopes between roughly 200 and 400 metres, high enough that picking runs later than down on the flats. Jadis is Domaine Léon Barral's 2020 from that schist country.
