Produced from vines up to 72 years old. Fermented in 100% new oak and aged for 18 months. Christian Serafin is one of this appellation’s true superstars.

Mazoyeres-Chambertin is one of the nine grands crus of Gevrey-Chambertin, and its growers are legally free to sell the wine under the better-known Charmes-Chambertin name, which is why bottles actually printed Mazoyeres are uncommon. Domaine Taupenot-Merme kept the original name on this 2004 Pinot Noir.
