Building on many years of family tradition, the family winery Dr. Heyden is committed to the following criteria: environmentally friendly cultivation, reduced yields and gentle treatment of the harvested material. In order to produce wines with fruit and aroma, the Dr.Heyden winery uses modern stainless steel tanks with temperature control, but also wooden and barrique barrels. In 2004, the winery received the State Honorary Award from the state government of Rhineland-Palatinate and Frank Heyden received the German Oenologist Award.
