Cool weather and September rain pushed the 2019 Willamette Valley harvest late, with growers picking into October between breaks in the weather. Elk Cove's 2019 Reserve Pinot Noir came out of that stop-and-start autumn. The 2018 that preceded it grew in a much warmer, drier season — same label, very different year.
