Emidio Pepe - 2021 - Trebbiano d'Abruzzo - 750 ml.

Trebbiano is an ancient, indigenous variety from the Teramo Hills. It produces an elegant and authoritative wine, long-lived and capable of evolving over time.

The estate at Torano Nuovo, in the hills of northern Abruzzo, has bottled under the Emidio Pepe name since the mid-1960s, and the wines ferment in glass-lined concrete rather than wood or steel. The family runs it today. This 2021 is the Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, a DOC white that can be built from more than one grape carrying the Trebbiano name.
