Eola-Amity Hills became an AVA in 2006 and, like the other sub-appellations of the Willamette Valley, it nests inside that much larger name, so a producer can label at either scale depending on how tightly the line should be drawn. Evening Land's 2021 La Source Chardonnay uses the smaller of the two.
