DESCRIPTION

Bolgheri sits on the Tuscan coast in the province of Livorno, and it is one of the few Italian denominations where Cabernet and Merlot lead the blend while Sangiovese plays support. Fabio Motta's Pievi is a 2022 Bolgheri Rosso built along those lines. Pievi is the Italian word for the old rural parish churches scattered through the countryside.
