Riesling dominates plantings across the Finger Lakes, so a Chardonnay carrying a vineyard name is an unusual sight from this part of New York. Caywood lies on the east side of Seneca Lake, in the Lodi area, and Forge Cellars buys its fruit from the grower who farms it, putting the site's name on the 2023 label.
