The Brauneberger Juffer is a big site by Mosel standards, and inside it lies a smaller sector, the Juffer Sonnenuhr, that growers bottle separately. A wine labeled with the Juffer alone, like this 2022 Fritz Haag Kabinett, draws on the wider slope. Vines here root in grey and brown slate, the rock that gave the Brauneberg its name.
