Fritz Haag's 2023 Kabinett comes from the Brauneberger Juffer, the steep south-facing flank that rises straight out of the Mosel opposite the village. Prussian tax surveys in the nineteenth century ranked that hillside among the most valuable on the river. It is still planted almost entirely to Riesling.
