Evangelo is not a straight varietal wine: a small share of Viognier goes in with the Syrah, the white grape long co-fermented with it in Cote-Rotie. Gerovassiliou bottles the 2022 in Greece, one more sign of how far that northern Rhone habit has travelled from home. Co-fermentation means the two ferment together, not blended after the fact.
