Gerovassilou - 2023 - Viognier - 750 ml.

Viognier came close to disappearing in the 1960s, when the Condrieu terraces above the Rhone held only a few dozen acres of it. From there the variety spread outward, reaching Greece among many other destinations, and Gerovassiliou made this white from the 2023 harvest. Greek estates took up international whites through the 1980s and 1990s alongside their native ones.
