Cap Classique is South Africa's term for sparkling wine fermented in its own bottle, the same mechanics used in Champagne, with a minimum period on the lees before release. Graham Beck works out of Robertson, an inland district along the Breede River whose lime-rich soils are unusual for the Cape. This Brut Rose is dated to a single harvest, 2018, and is built on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
