Inglenook's history runs longer than almost any in Napa: Gustave Niebaum, a Finnish sea captain made rich by the Alaska fur trade, established the Rutherford estate in 1879, and Francis Ford Coppola spent decades reassembling the property before restoring its original name in 2011. The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is farmed on that same land at Rutherford's western edge, where the vineyards climb toward the Mayacamas foothills.
