Grands Échézeaux covers barely nine hectares in Flagey-Échézeaux, wedged between the walled Clos de Vougeot and the much larger Échézeaux vineyard whose name it shares. The appellation permits only red wine, and only Pinot Noir. Joseph Drouhin's 2019 comes from a grand cru whose entire annual production, across every grower, amounts to just a few thousand cases.
