Kakurei - NV - Kakurei Junmai Ginjo Umeshu Plum Sake - 720 ml.

This is not sake but umeshu: ume, the Japanese apricot picked while still green and hard, steeped with sugar in a base liquid. Kakurei, in Niigata, builds it on junmai ginjo sake instead of the shochu or neutral spirit behind most commercial umeshu. It arrives in the same 720 ml format as the brewery's sake, and likewise without a year.
