DESCRIPTION

Sonoma Valley is walled on its eastern side by the Mayacamas, a volcanic range whose slopes carry thin, rocky soil and shed water quickly, so vines up there set small crops without being asked to. Cabernet Sauvignon grown on that kind of ground behaves nothing like Cabernet on the valley floor below. Kamen Estate's Kishmir Reserve is the 2021.
